Just to let you all know, Claire and I are now back in the UK for good (after three years posted in windy Holland).
You will be pleased to hear that StarVega will be all shiny and shipshape for the forth coming season and will be catching up on some serious missed sea time.

This coming Tueday, the 12th Jan, may continue to be cold and frosty out side, but the atmosphere at our regular venue in the RDYC will be warm and welcoming. It is fantastic that the blog area is being used, and congratulations to Jane for her enthusiastic take up of this. I think we have a Blog Guru in the offing. Just a gentle word of caution however. A number of blogs are now on the site saying things like . . . "Come along next tuesday and . . ." and ". . .tomorrow night . . . .". Well, we have at last got a 'blog' feature on our web site which will allow any registered member to offer their comments, vent their spleen or tell us all about their last delightful sail, or their most hair raising one.
